Everyone’s probably played a video game at least once in their lives. We know we’ve run ourselves off Rainbow Road more times then we can count! But, no matter how much fun we have shooting blue winged shells of doom at our opponents, we’re starting to get over the whole controller-in-hand concept of gaming!

Let’s sit and think about all the Internet has to offer us. You can buy things galore from all of your favorite stores, you never run out of adorable cat videos, and you can practically see the world without leaving your couch. It’s quite magical, isn’t it? Well, for some, that fun escape from reality might be a little more serious.
Nintendo debuted its newest handheld gaming console, the 2DS, last week, and at first everybody was all, “OMG, gross!” But we were not so quick to judge the 2DS by its bulky cover. We gave the gamers some time to get adjusted to its unusual look before reading the reviews, and now the general response seems to be, “Meh. It’s cheaper so whatever.”
Rovio and Lucasfilm have confirmed that there will be a sequel to Angry Birds Star Wars. It will have the very original title of Angry Birds Star Wars II, and will be released globally on September 19th. This insanely addicting game takes the same physics-based gameplay of the original Angry Birds and puts it in a gravity-free environment. This gives gamers new tricks and tools to destroy those evil little piggies! With this sequel, Rovio will be launching brand new characters while adding a few new surprises as well.
You might think you have pretty impressive pumpkin-carving skills – and some of you probably do – but it will be hard to beat the Pumpktris. As the name implies, this pumpkin was carved and lighted Tetris style. And it isn’t just intended to look cool on your porch while running through a Tetris animation. The Pumpktris is actually a working Tetris game, using the pumpkin stem as the joystick controller.
