The digital gaming world, revolutionized by social media and the ever-growing population of self-proclaimed “nerds,” has just been taken one step further by the popular streaming service Twitch.
If you haven’t already figured it out by now, gaming systems can’t exactly get along. We’re pretty sure if Xbox and PlayStation turned into two living, breathing humans, they would utterly hate each other and would spend each day toilet papering and egging each other’s houses. It would be that intense.
Usually we try to keep the Friday video to something short and sweet like thirty seconds of Bill Gates in a chicken suit, afro, and vampire teeth. But not today! Nintendo debuted its newest handheld gaming console, the 2DS, last week, and at first everybody was all, “OMG, gross!” But we were not so quick to judge the 2DS by its bulky cover. We gave the gamers some time to get adjusted to its unusual look before reading the reviews, and now the general response seems to be, “Meh. It’s cheaper so whatever.”
